What does “Would you like to specify a future ship date?” on the checkout page mean?

This is the day you are requesting us to ship your order.  This is not the requested delivery date.  Please note that we do not ship Friday-Sunday or holidays, we also may need to delay your shipping date due to weather concerns or inventory.  If your order is of a time-sensitive nature, we always recommend calling the bakery and asking to speak to the mail order department at 773-281-7300 to make arrangements.   Our Mail Order Department is available Monday – Friday 9:30-4:30 excluding Holidays. You can email orders@shipdinkels.com as well.

Gift to Reorder Program:

Offered to returning customers who sent Holiday Gifts from Dinkel’s the prior year or years.  Customers will receive emails reminding them of the season coming up with a link to their previous orders.  For those customers who do not have an email address, we will send a hard copy of the letter an list of recipients and gifts sent the previous year.  Customers will receive 10% off their orders excluding shipping. 

 All orders placed will start to be sent on the date specified on by your Gift to Reorder letter and/or email.  We do not guarantee the exact date that your packages will go out or be delivered. We adhere to what our Shipping Partner (UPS) tells us is the last day that Christmas Delivery is guaranteed for ground shipping.

Exact dates for the program will be added closer to the time.
