Dinkel’s Bakery usess reports internally for sales and marketing purposes. These reports include aggregate information about our users. The information in these reports is strictly used internally and no information contained in the reports is shared with outside companies to contact members directly. Any and all communication is made directly from Dinkel’s Bakery, Inc.
No information collected is shared with third parties, unless needed to directly facilitate the customers purchase/transaction. And in alignment with PCI compliance, no credit card numbers are stored at any time on any of our devices.
We currently use UPS and the United States Postal Service for shipment of our products. Expedited service by UPS, for next day and 2nd day shipments is also available. Please see our Mail Order Website for shipping charges. Shipping times are based on holiday times and dates, customer holiday order date request and when your order was received as well as product availability. We do reserve a right of product substitution, delay in shipping based on baking the products, as well as seasonal delivery issues based on weather.
Please note, unless credit card authorization and verification has been approved we will not be shipping your order(s).

What does “Would you like to specify a future ship date?” on the checkout page mean?
This is the day you are requesting us to ship your order. This is not the requested delivery date. Please note that we do not ship Friday-Sunday or holidays, we also may need to delay your shipping date due to weather concerns or inventory. If your order is of a time-sensitive nature, we always recommend calling the bakery and asking to speak to the mail order department at 773-281-7300 to make arrangements. Our Mail Order Department is available Monday – Friday 9:30-4:30 excluding Holidays. You can email email@example.com as well.
Cool Weather Shipping:
In effect October 1 – March 31st, we ship Mon-Thursday. We have 1-2 day turnaround for orders received before 10am CST.
Gift to Reorder Program:
Offered to returning customers who sent Holiday Gifts from Dinkel’s the prior year or years. Customers will receive emails reminding them of the season coming up with a link to their previous orders. For those customers who do not have an email address, we will send a hard copy of the letter an list of recipients and gifts sent the previous year. Customers will receive 10% off their orders excluding shipping.
All orders placed will start to be sent on the date specified on by your Gift to Reorder letter and/or email. We do not guarantee the exact date that your packages will go out or be delivered. We adhere to what our Shipping Partner (UPS) tells us is the last day that Christmas Delivery is guaranteed for ground shipping.
Exact dates for the program will be added closer to the time.
Warm Weather Shipping
From April 15th through September 30th we only ship Monday – Wednesday excluding holidays. So an order received after 10am CST Tuesday won’t go out until the following Monday. We reserve the right to charge $5 for warm weather shipping for certain items, this includes the use of reusable ice packs.
If the destination is 3+ day ship point 2nd Day Air is required. Note: Some states are split across different shipping zones.

We don’t ship on Friday’s, or Saturdays except during December to accommodate the volume of packages we are sending out.
We do send to APO addresses using the USPS.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with our products you may request either a product replacement or refund for the price of the product.
